Our next tour of Italy is planned for September 3 - 10, 2008. Once again we will be hosting the ultimate insider's tour featuring visits with growers, producers and chefs along with beautiful sights, luxury hotels and fabulous meals. I hope you can join us!

We are finalizing the itinerary and price, but here is what we have planned so far:

SEPTEMBER 03 WEDNESDAY - 2008: Brindisi/Gallipoli
1. AM private bus transfer, Brindisi Airport to Relais Corte Palmieri in Gallipoli, times to be determined.
2. 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm: Guided walking tour of Gallipoli; guide to begin at hotel and finish at restaurant in Gallipoli.
3. 8:00 pm dinner at restaurant “Le Puritate” in Gallipoli.
4. Overnight: Relais Corte Palmieri in Gallipoli.

SEPTEMBER 04 THURSDAY - 2008: Gallipoli
1. Breakfast at the Relais Corte Palmieri.
2. 9:30 am transfer to Galatina and visit of the city.
3. 10:00 am visit to a cookie producer.
4. 12:00 am transfer from Galatina to Gallipoli.
5. Lunch to on your own.
6. Free afternoon.
7. 8:00 pm dinner at restaurant in Gallipoli.
8. Overnight: Relais Corte Palmieri in Gallipoli.

SEPTEMBER 05 FRIDAY - 2008: Gallipoli
1. Breakfast at the Relais Corte Palmieri.
2. 9:30 am transfer to Otranto and visit of the city.
3. 1:00 pm lunch at Restaurant in Otranto.
4. 3:00 pm visit a cheese producer.
5. 5:00 pm transfer from Otranto to Gallipoli.
6. 8:00 pm dinner at Restaurant Gallipoli.
7. Overnight: Relais Corte Palmieri in Gallipoli.

SEPTEMBER 06 SATURDAY - 2008: Gallipoli/San Gregorio
1. Breakfast at the Relais Corte Palmieri.
2. 9:00 am Bus transfer from Gallipoli to San Gregorio.
3. 10:00 am Check in at Hotel Ruri Pulcra.
4. 10:30 am market place.
5. Light lunch at the hotel.
6. 2:00 pm Cooking class. A professional chef will work with your group and you will be responsible for preparing a traditional Sicilian meal. You will start in the morning by going to the local market and shopping for ingredients. In the afternoon the chef will assist you in the preparation of the dishes.
7. 8:00 pm dinner at restaurant Ruri Pulcra.
8. Overnight: Hotel Ruri Pulcra in Patù.

SEPTEMBER 07 SUNDAY - 2008: San Gregorio
1. Breakfast at Hotel Ruri Pulcra.
2. 11:00 am visit wine company.
3. 12:45 am lunch at wine company.
4. 2:30 pm Visit and tasting at “Soc. Merico” Olive oil Company – Miggiano (LE).
5. 5:30 pm Visit Tombolo Company.
6. 9:00 pm dinner at restaurant in Patù.
7. Overnight: Hotel Ruri Pulcra in Patù.

SEPTEMBER 08 MONDAY - 2008: San Gregorio/Lecce
1. Breakfast at Hotel Ruri Pulcra.
2. 8:40 am luggage collection and check out.
3. 9:00 am bus transfer from San Gregorio to Lecce.
4. Guided walking tour of Lecce.
5. Lunch to on your own.
6. 2:30 pm visit of Acaya.
7. 8:00 pm dinner is at restaurant – Lecce.
8. 10:00 pm after dinner entertainment (pizzica music).
9. Overnight at Hotel Risorgimento in Lecce.

SEPTEMBER 09 TUESDAY - 2008: Lecce
1. Breakfast at Hotel Risorgimento.
2. 9:00 am visit and tasting honey producer.
3. Lunch to on your own.
4. 3:00 pm free afternoon.
5. 8:00 pm dinner is at Restaurant – Lecce.
6. Overnight at Hotel Risorgimento in Lecce.

SEPTEMBER 10 WEDNESDAY - 2008: Lecce/Brindisi
1. Breakfast at Hotel Risorgimento.
2. Transfer to Brindisi Airport.
